Mapping

The maps displayed on a number of the facilities pages on the International Artiste Directory website, make use of the excellent Google Maps technology.

Iconography

When it came to use of icons on the International Artiste Directory website, we thought "why re-invent the wheel when there are some really impressive options available?" Consequently, we owe a big acknowledgement to famfamfam for the Silk icon set, some of which icons are dotted around the International Artiste website. Also a big thank you too for the Tango icons.

Work Tools

With regards to actually doing the work, we mainly used Skype for Voice Communications, Mozilla Firefox for Web Browsing, Mozilla Thunderbird for Email, Adobe Photoshop for graphics editing, Twiki and TiddlyWiki for general Goal Tracking, and SugarCRM behind the scenes.

Web Graphics

A big thank you to JonDesign for SmoothGallery for the online galleries and oscandy.com for slightbox for the lightbox extension, and mootools and moo.fx for the awesome library we use for the graphics effects.

Testing

The website was tested on various flavours of the Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, KDE Konqueror and Opera Web Browsers to reduce the chance of people tearing their hair out when the website didn't work on their choice of web browser.

Refreshments

Thank you too, to the various branches of Starbucks in London, for providing such a mellow environment for us to conduct meetings in, whilst downing large quantities of coffee.
